Charges have been filed in a Topeka carjacking against two men who were arrested Monday in Kansas City, Kan., with two people in the trunk of their car.

Shawnee County prosecutors on Wednesday filed aggravated robbery and kidnapping charges against Jakeem Coopwood, 24, and Lashon Stewart, 20, both of Topeka. Bond for each was set at $150,000.

The people in the trunk were alive, and authorities believe they were kidnapped Sunday night in Topeka.
