KCK Fire Dept. worker on unpaid leave

A Kansas City, Kan., Fire Department worker was booked on charges of electronic solicitation of a child.

A Kansas City, Kan., Fire Department employee has been charged in a criminal case, the department announced Tuesday.

Timothy Ray Coffin, 47, was booked Monday in Johnson County for alleged electronic solicitation of a child under the age of 16.

The fire department confirmed Tuesday that Coffin is an employee. Earlier, without identifying the person, the department said an employee had been charged, released on bond and placed on administrative leave.
