Olathe engineering company acquires Florida-based firm

Terracon Consultants Inc., an Olathe-based engineering services company, has acquired Dunkelberger Engineering and Testing Inc. Terms of the purchase were not disclosed.
Dunkelberger is based in West Palm Beach, Fla., and also has offices in Sarasota, Fort Lauderdale and Port St. Lucie. Terracon said it will retain Dunkelberger’s 60 employees.
Terracon is an employee-owned firm, with more than 2,800 employees in 130 offices in 39 states.Convention bureau honored
The Overland Park Convention and Visitors Bureau has received a Telly Award for an online video that promotes the city’s hotels, attractions, shops and restaurants. The “Visit Overland Park” video was shot and produced last year by KJO Media of Overland Park.
The Telly Award honors outstanding local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs, along with online commercials, video and film.Coldwell Banker move
Coldwell Banker Advantage of Kansas City has moved to the Corporate Woods office park in Overland Park. The 16-year-old company has been renamed Coldwell Banker GoodLife Real Estate Group. Karen Bergin is the broker-owner. The company has more than 30 Realtors, and said it generated more than $100 million in sales over the past 12 months in handling about 500 properties.
