Westlake’s good deed
Volunteers from several Westlake Ace Hardware stores have spent the past week working on a home makeover project for an Olathe family. The workers installed siding and gutters, painted the home and refreshed the landscaping as part of a project in conjunction with the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals of Greater Kansas City. Westlake said several other area businesses contributed to the project.
Westlake has partnered with the nonprofit organization in previous years, and this time the company chose to help a family whose child has been diagnosed with two types of cancer.
