2. Bishop Miege (1-1, 1-1)
Beat Gardner Edgerton, 38-7; Friday vs. St. Thomas Aquinas

3. Mill Valley (2-0, 2-0)
Beat Blue Valley Northwest, 38-19; Friday vs. Blue Valley Southwest
Mill Valley’s first foray into the EKL has been a breeze so far. Quarterback Brody Flaming is a huge part of the success, including last week when he threw four touchdown passes, three of those for 47 or more yards.
4. St. Thomas Aquinas (2-0, 2-0)
Beat Blue Valley North, 35-14; Friday at Bishop Miege
In two games this season, Drew Hicks has five rushing touchdowns, including two that helped Aquinas overcome seven fumbles against Blue Valley North last week. The Saints’ clash with Bishop Miege this week will be one of the biggest matchups of the season.
5. Blue Valley North (1-1, 1-1)
Lost to St. Thomas Aquinas, 35-14; Friday at Blue Valley
The Mustangs had an early 7-0 lead over Aquinas last week, but didn’t score again until late in the fourth quarter. On a night where North couldn’t capitalize on seven Aquinas fumbles, it fumbled five times itself.
6. St. James Academy (1-1, 1-1)
Beat Blue Valley Southwest, 12-7; Friday at Gardner Edgerton
Notching its first EKL win, the Thunder slogged through a low-scoring affair. Travis Pickert scored St. James’ lone touchdown, and added two forced fumbles and two sacks on the defensive side.
7. Blue Valley West (1-1, 1-1)
Lost to Blue Valley, 49-7; Friday at Blue Valley Northwest
Blue Valley West ran into the Blue Valley buzzsaw last week, but has a tough win against Southwest to hang its hat on.
8. Blue Valley Southwest (0-2, 0-2)
Lost to St. James, 12-7; Friday at Mill Valley
Although it hasn’t won yet, Southwest has played both Blue Valley West and St. James closely to start the season.
9. Blue Valley Northwest (0-2, 0-2)
Lost to Mill Valley, 38-19; Friday vs. Blue Valley West
Daeron Robinson added two touchdown runs last week, but Northwest couldn’t find points in the second or third quarters against Mill Valley. The Huskies have lost by at least two touchdowns two weeks in a row.

Lost to Bishop Miege, 38-7; Friday vs. St. James Academy
Gardner Edgerton has served as a punching bag to open the season, losing by 29 and 31 points to two of the league’s top teams.
