Today’s cover story isn’t about the big issues of our day. It’s not about a trend, a news event or a news maker.
Today we offer a slice-of-life story about a dying elderly woman and the unusual way she chose to honor her granddaughter. Through Milly Lally, we get a glimpse of how we live and how we die. It’s a lovely story, compassionately told by writer Traci Angel.
Writers like Traci are the lifeblood of a news magazine. They find good tales and turn them into compelling, nuanced stories that show us who we are, where we live and how we work together to form a community.
