Cass County Civil War Roundtable

Come and learn about Cass County history with us. Our speaker is Angela Schear. She will be sharing her family story of her third-great grandmother, Abby Gibbons, who was a Union nurse in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia during the Civil War.
“Homeschool Help” Presentation

April Nouse, an experienced homeschool mom, will lead the presentation on using library resources to teach your children at home. Among the issues discussed are what assets the library has to supplement homeschooling, additional resources and support in the area, choosing a curriculum as well as Missouri homeschool laws.
