On Feb. 19 at 2340 hours, a deputy was dispatched to Sapp Brother's in reference to a disturbance that had occurred in the 16000 block of East 333rd Street. A female subject advised she had been assaulted by a white male. A suspect has been identified.

On Feb. 23 at approximately 1507 hours, a deputy conducted a vehicle stop on Interstate 49 at the Archie overpass. Two subjects were placed into custody for active warrants. A trailer with logs was towed from the scene with the vehicle.

On Feb. 20 at approximately 1231 hours, a deputy responded to the 7200 block of Crown Park in regard to a burglary. The subject said a relative’s residence, which she is responsible for, was broken into on Sunday or Monday.

On Feb. 21 at approximately 1929 hours, a deputy conducted a vehicle stop of a white Ford F250 in the area of North Scott and Carnegie streets. The driver was found to have a revoked driving status and active warrants from the Grandview Police Department. The subject was arrested and transported to the Cass County Jail.

On Feb. 22 at approximately 1340 hours, a deputy responded to the 400 block of Hamilton Drive to assist Division of Family Services with an investigation. Upon arrival, two subjects were contacted and four children were taken into protective custody.

On Feb. 24 at 2107 hours, a deputy conducted a suspicious vehicle check in the Belton High School parking lot. The white male driver was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was cited and released.

On Feb. 25 at 2152 hours, a deputy conducted a residence check in the 100 block of County Line Rd #201. Contact was made with a white male who was wanted on several outstanding Cass County warrants. Another party at the residence also was taken into custody. One party had an active extraditable warrant from out of state.

On Feb. 21 at approximately 0759 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the intersection of 247th Street and State Line Road in reference to a trailer in the ditch. The owner was located.

On Feb. 24, a deputy investigated a burglary at the United Methodist Church. Staff stated that an unknown person or persons broke into the church through a basement window. One suspect has been identified.

On Feb. 25 at 2259 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the commuter lot in Creighton in reference to meeting a female who had been assaulted. At the location, a female subject stated that she was assaulted from Urich, Mo., to Creighton, Mo. A Henry County Deputy was called to the scene. A suspect was identified, arrested and transported to Henry County Jail.

On Feb. 22 at approximately 1512 hours, a deputy was dispatched to Dollar General in the 8300 block of East Missouri 2 in reference to stealing.

On Feb. 23 at approximately 1741 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 29100 block of Masterson Road for threats made. A subject stated his neighbor had threatened him. A suspect has been identified.

On Feb. 20 at 1416 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the area of northbound Interstate 49 near the 161.8 mile marker for a reported motor vehicle crash. An unknown SUV slid on ice striking into a silver Audi. There were no injuries reported.

On Feb. 20 at approximately 1400 hours, a deputy received information about the location of narcotics that were brought into the Cass County Jail. The narcotics were located and a suspect has been identified.

On Feb. 21 at approximately 1529 hours, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on Missouri 2 near Interstate 49. The driver was determined to have a revoked Missouri driver's license and also had multiple prior convictions for driving while revoked.

On Feb. 22 at approximately 1557 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 18600 block of East 281st Street for a welfare check. A juvenile female was contacted and transported to a medical facility.

On Feb. 23, a deputy investigated an alleged domestic assault in the 27000 block of South Brookhart Drive in rural Harrisonville. The victims, an older female and younger male, stated that they were both assaulted an older man, who was the husband/father of the victims.

On Feb. 19 at approximately 1003 hours, a deputy was contacted in the Cass County Sheriff's Office parking lot by a subject who said someone had stolen his license plates off his car in the 100 block of Lyne Avenue. A suspect has not been identified.

On Feb. 21 at approximately 0906 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 1800 block of East Gore Road in reference to an intrusion alarm. The residence was cleared and secured.

On Feb. 21 at approximately 1739 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 1500 block of Kurzweil Road for a reported theft. The owner said several thousand dollars of heavy equipment had been taken from his property at that address.

On Feb. 22 at approximately 1815 hours, a deputy was dispatched by phone for a report of threats. Contact was made with the subject, but no suspect has been identified at this time.

On Feb. 19, a deputy investigated a child-custody dispute in the 100 block of North Main Street. The subject said that his child's maternal grandmother would not let him have his son. It was later determined that the grandmother had been granted emergency custody of the child.
