Dozens of people showed up at the first public hearing of the new KCI airport held by the KCI-Edgemoor Team at the Kansas City Police Academy. The single terminal airport was approved by an overwhelming vote early this month.

Officer Clint Akin of the Texarkana, Texas, Police Department had some trouble keeping his footing while directing traffic on icy roads Tuesday at the intersection of Richmond Road and Mall Drive. “If you don't really have to be out, stay where you are. Don't take a chance,” the department posted on its Facebook page with the video.
