Body found north of Weston in Platte County

Platte County authorities are investigating the discovery of a body Friday in an unincorporated area north of Weston.

Investigators responded to the area near East Dye Store Road and Dye Store Road, about 10 a.m. Authorities did not know how long the body had been there. No other details were available.

Another body, a male believed to be in his 20s or 30s, was found Thursday on the Platte County side of the Missouri River near Interstate 435. He had tattoos of a four-leaf clover and the letters “Ca” on his lower back.
