Kansas City will be resurfacing about 300 lane-miles of its street system this summer, and now there’s an easy way to find out if your street is on the list.

A new map on the city’s website also can tell you which roads have been completed, which are in progress and which are scheduled for the upcoming week.

To find the map, visit kcmo.org and find Public Works in the drop-down menu for city departments. Click on Street Preservation and the map comes right up.

The resurfacing work began in mid-May.
