▪ Student artists: Two Northland physical therapy students will display their artwork through Nov. 7 on the campus in Leavenworth.
Pete Trujillo of Kansas City, North, and SaraYunghans of Liberty are among doctor ofphysical therapy students included in the exhibit, "Art Show 2014: Transforming Society by Optimizing Movement to Improve the Human Experience.''
The exhibit coincides with October as National Physical Therapy Month. The Goppert Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays through Nov. 7.
Liberty Middle School
▪ Show opens Friday: Middleschool thespians will present "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" on Friday and Saturday in the Liberty Performing Arts Theater at 1600 S. Withers Road.
The curtain rises at 7 p.m. on the peculiar characters created by Lewis Carroll and Alice's adventures with them the White Rabbit, Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, the Queen of Hearts and others.
Selected for the cast are Paige Adams, Liam Arciga, Katt Braughton, Makana Brooks, Weston Brown, Karlee Burch, Fiona Burroughs, Scott Cook, Landyn Cowger, Jeremy Crooks, Jonathan Edens, Shelby Erickson, Maryn Everly, Michael Garcia, Caleb Goodwin, Dylan Green, McKenzie Greenwood, Bristol Hough, Lukas Hudson, Alex Hundt and Tiffany Huynh.

The student assistant director is Kendall McMullen. The student assistant stage manager is Jordyn Marquis. Tickets are $5 and available at the box office the night of the performance or by calling 8167365660.
Liberty School District
Residents will have two opportunities next week to peek at EPiC Elementary, the Liberty Public Schools' 11th elementary school.
Open houses will take place Oct. 20 and 21, and visitors can stop by 650 Conistor St. anytime between 4 and 7 p.m. those days.
