The 152nd Platte County Fair opens July 22 at 4 p.m. at the fairgrounds in Tracy, Mo.
The fair is the oldest, continually running fair west of the Mississippi.
This year’s fair includes a motor sport each night at 7 p.m.; as well as a carnival, live entertainment, pageants and exhibits.
The fair runs through July 25 and includes:

▪ Wednesday July 22: 4-H exhibits open at 4 p.m.; Floral Hall opens at 5 p.m.; carnival opens at 6 p.m.; MotoCross begins at 7 p.m.; wine tasting, 8-10 p.m., $10 fee, benefit wine tasting with wines from several Missouri wineries; entertainment by Outlaw Jim and the Whiskey Benders and Dirty Shame at 9 p.m.
▪ July 23: Senior Citizen activities at 5 p.m.; Demolition Derby at 7 p.m.; Missy/Master contest at 6:30 p.m.; Demolition Derby at 7 p.m.; Frisk band 8:30 p.m.; Outlaw Jim and the Whiskey Benders at 9 p.m.
▪ July 24: Mud Marathon at 7 p.m.; Yardogs at 8 p.m.; Matt Snook at 9 p.m.
▪ July 25: Horseshoe Pitching 10 a.m. registration; Texas Hold’em Poker, 3 p.m.; Fair Queen and former queens presented at 6:30 p.m.; tractor pull at 7 p.m.; entertainment, 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Daily admission to the fair is $10. Children 12 years and younger are free.
