Harry Round of Lake Waukomis graduated from Lafayette High School in St. Joseph and immediately joined the Army in 1945. Having had three years of Army ROTC in high school, he was chosen as a squad leader during basic training. On Thursday, he’ll be recognized for his service on the honor flight.
