Kansas City, Kan., firefighters responded to a fire at the Kellogg’s Snacks plant Wednesday night, according to authorities.
Fire crews were called about 9 p.m. to the industrial building at 801 Sunshine Road, just south of the Missouri River.
Kansas City, Kan., Fire Chief John Paul Jones said the call went out as a general alarm and that crews found an active fire in the plant.
Shortly before 10 p.m., fire crews called for medical personnel to attend to an overheated firefighter.
