The seventh annual Big Slick Celebrity Weekend, with hometown stars Jason Sudeikis, Rob Riggle, Paul Rudd, Eric Stonestreet and David Koechner, starts Friday.
The public will have two opportunities to catch a glimpse of the action and the 25 other celebrity guests in town for softball, bowling and auction events, all benefiting the Cancer Center at Children’s Mercy Hospital.
The first chance will be the Star-Spangled Softball game at 5 p.m. Friday at Kauffman Stadium. Admission is included for anyone attending the Royals vs.Tigers game at 7:15 p.m. Visit the Royals’ website to purchase tickets. Five dollars of each ticket goes toward Big Slick.
On Saturday, the celebrities will be in Overland Park for the Red, White & Bowl bowling tournament. The tournament is for ticket holders only, but before the event, members of the public can see the guests walk a short red carpet at 9:45 a.m. at Pinstripes at Prairie Fire, at 13500 Nall Ave.
Never miss a local story.
