The tallest water slide in the world is also becoming the tardiest.
Schlitterbahn water park in Kansas City, Kan., announced on its website Thursday that Verrückt, the 168-foot-7-inch daredevil slide, will not open to the public on Sunday.
Originally it was to open May 23, but that got pushed back to June 5 as additional tweaks were made. The latest start date was to have been Sunday, but even that was iffy.
The website gave no further details, but they did release a point-of-view video.
