The blaze that extensively damaged the Crowley Furniture store in Liberty early Sunday was accidental, possibly electrical in nature, authorities have determined.

Fire crews were called just after 9 a.m. to the store at Missouri 291 and Missouri 152. Liberty summoned Kansas City firefighters to help. It took crews about 90 minutes to bring the fire under control.

The store was closed at the time.
