Fire damages Crowley Furniture store in Liberty

A fire Sunday morning at the Crowley Furniture store in Liberty caused extensive damage, Liberty fire officials said.
No injuries were reported.
Officials said the state fire marshal was being called in to investigate the blaze, which was reported about 9:10 a.m. and was under control by 10:30 a.m.
Authorities said damage was contained to the furniture store, which is in a strip center near the busy intersection of Missouri 291 and Missouri 152. The store was closed at the time of the fire.
Kansas City firefighters also responded to the blaze.
