Olathe police said a motorist suffered some sort of medical problem that led to the Friday morning wreck

A 58-year-old Olathe man was killed Friday morning when he suffered some sort of medical problem and the vehicle he was driving crashed into a tree.

Olathe police said the man, whose name has not been released, was driving east on Santa Fe Street about 9:45 a.m. Friday when the vehicle left the road and struck a tree at Normandy Drive. Police investigators determined that a medical condition led to the crash.
