Police arrested a man who witnesses said used his car to hit three people in a Kansas City, North, apartment complex parking lot after an argument Sunday evening.

One of the people hit was taken to a hospital with serious injuries after the hit-and-run around 8 p.m. at the Englewood Apartments, 5432 N.W. Waukomis Drive.

Police said they found the driver, who was not identified, with his car less than a mile away at a gas station near Waukomis Drive and U.S. 169 and took him into custody.
