Classes canceled at Orrick schools for the rest of the year

School buildings were damaged by Saturday’s tornado.

The Orrick school board has canceled classes for the remainder of the school year due to damage from Saturday’s tornado.

“The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has granted us forgiveness for these days and we will not be required to make them up,” the district said on its website. “We regret that we are unable to finish the 2013-14 school year with our students.”
