Local high schools dominate Kansas rankings for college readiness

In the newest U.S. News & World Report rankings of the nation’s top high schools, the Kansas college readiness list is heavy at the top with local schools. Sumner Academy in Kansas City, Kan., is No. 1 with a score of 74.1, and the next six on the list are Blue Valley and Shawnee Mission schools.
