Kansas City teens can register now for Club KC

Mayor Sly James urged Kansas City teens on Thursday to register for Club KC and other summer youth activities that begin in June.

Club KC will run on weekend nights for 12 weeks beginning May 23 and ending with an Aug. 16 celebration at Union Station.

All participants in Night Hoops, Night Kicks and Night Nets athletic events should register now at

kcmayor.org/mayorsnights. Club KC participants who did not register last year or who have lost their registration cards from last summer should also register at kcmayor.org/mayorsnights

High School Club KC events will be at the following locations and times:

• Brush Creek Community Center, every Friday and Saturday night this summer except July 4.

• Hillcrest Community Center, various dates, see calendar at

kcmayor.org/mayorsnights

• Kansas City North Community Center, one event July 18.

• Arts Tech, June 6, June 27, July 11, July 18, Aug. 1.

• Plaza Library, June 6, July 14 and Aug. 9.

• Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, various dates at two locations, see calendar at

kcmayor.org/mayorsnights

Middle School Club KC events:

• Gregg/Klice Community Center, every Friday and Saturday night this summer except July 4.

• Marlborough Community Center, every Saturday night this summer, including July 5.

• Hickman Mills Community Center, May 30, June 6, June 13.

• Boys Girls Club J Wagner Unit, every Friday night this summer except July 4 and Aug. 8.

• Plaza Library, June 6, July 14 and Aug. 9.
