A 10-year old girl was killed Saturday evening in a two-car accident in Lafayette County, the Missouri Highway Patrol says.

Kirsten Wrisinger died in the collision at U.S. 24 Highway and Missouri Highway 224 near Lexington.

The patrol report says the car the girl was riding in pulled in front of another vehicle, which collided with it on the rear passenger side. Three people in the second car were injured and taken to the hospital.

The victim was from Wellington, Mo., according to the patrol’s report. The driver of the car was not hurt.
