Someone wake us when this day is over. April Fool’s Day is ruining our web surfing.

The Daily Mail

in London has the best of the Internet’s April Fool's Day jokes and there are a horde of them this year.

Google unleashed a horde of pranks, from the Google Naps app – find the best places to sleep, including benches – to the David Hasselhoff photobomb extension from Google Plus.

Oh, and Chrome for Android and iOS is now translating web pages into emojis, “the next phase of linguistic evolution.”

And Richard Branson’s Virgin Airlines is starting a new program to let every passenger set their own air temperature in the plane.

Meh. We’re lovers of low-tech, old-school foolishness.

We giggled at Domino’s edible pizza boxes and KFC Australia’s “Mighty Mouth Expander” that helps customers with tiny mouths cram down huge sandwiches.

And double-LOL to

’s “12 Simple April Fool’s Pranks.”

Stuff doughnuts with mayonnaise. Paint a bar of soap with clear nail polish so it won’t lather. Mix Reese Pieces, Skittles and M into one big bowl.

Ha ha. Making a run for CVS right now.
