Suspicious package leads to KCK building evacuation

A suspicious package prompted the Friday afternoon evacuation of an office building in Kansas City, Kan.

Emergency responders were called just before 3 p.m. Friday to the building in the 400 block of State Avenue.

The police bomb squad was dispatched to investigate the package. It was determined not to be an explosive or any threat.
