Rockfest lineup announced: Korn, Five Finger Death Punch, Staind on list of 15 bands

Organizers have announced the lineup for Rockfest 2014, the 12-hour hard-rock orgy that takes over the Liberty Memorial Park each May.

The event, which usually draws around 50,000 fans, is sponsored by radio station KQRC (98.9 FM), known as the Rock.

This year’s lineup: Korn, Five Finger Death Punch, Staind, Killswitch Engage, Steel Panther, Black Label Society, Pop Evil, Adelita’s Way, Escape the Fate, Soil, the Pretty Reckless, Heaven’s Basement, Eve to Adam and Nothing More.

Fifteen bands will perform on two stages.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Saturday. Price: $45.

Members of the radio station’s Rockaholic club can buy tickets for $25. A Rockaholic presale starts at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Tickets are $20 during the presale. To become a registered Rockaholic,
