All high school and college students who like to write computer code — or want to learn — can throw themselves fingers-first into CodeDay KC’s 24-hour marathon Feb. 15 and 16.
Students can come to the Sprint Accelerator, 210 W. 19th Terrace, in groups or as individuals and form teams, participate in workshops, pitch ideas and then get building.
Kansas City is one of six U.S. cities hosting the marathons to help encourage and inspire more youths to learn the language of coding.
Tickets purchased before Friday are $10.
Regular tickets are $20 — which includes lunch and dinner Feb. 15, a midnight snack and breakfast on Feb. 16.
