Kansas City police investigate possible homicide

Kansas City, Mo., police were investigating a probable homicide at 3240 Broadway Saturday.

A department spokesman said officers were called to a hotel at that address around 10 a.m. When they arrived they found a black female inside one of the rooms. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators didn’t know the cause of death, but detectives were considering it a probable homicide, according to a spokesman.
