Star employee rescues former Shawnee mayor who fell in subzero weather

While delivering papers in subzero weather early Monday in Shawnee, Kansas City Star employee Jeff Stockwell called 911 after finding a 77-year-old man who had fallen and was in the open garage of his home. The man, former Shawnee Mayor Tony Soetaert, was hospitalized with mild hypothermia.
