Johnson County seeks to interview man in connection with courthouse threats

Johnson County Sheriff’s Office deputies are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person who may know details regarding recent threats called into the county courthouse.

Johnson County Sheriff’s Office deputies are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person who may know details regarding recent threats called into the county courthouse.

The courthouse in Olathe closed early Monday afternoon because of a threat. Authorities received a separate threat on Dec. 27, the sheriff’s office said.

Authorities describe the person they want to interview as a white man with a medium build who was wearing jeans and a tan jacket. They believ3e he was driving a late-model Ford F-150 four-door truck, with a two-tone paint scheme of copper over gold.
