The auto boasts of heated seat,
Which hardly feels warm;
And even on the setting “high”
There’s nothing out of norm.
A friend to whom I’ve told this fact,
He opts to speculate:
“The padding on the seat’s too thick
For heat to penetrate.”
I check the seat: the padding, firm;
The leather stitching, taut;
This close inspection’s verdict thus:
An overstuffing? Not.
I tell my friend, who gives reply
But soft, as from afar:
“The seat I was referring to
Is not the one in car.”
