A woman robbed a bank in Raytown early Tuesday afternoon, federal officials said.

She gave the teller a note demanding money but did not display a weapon during the 12:20 p.m. robbery at the Bank of America branch at 10017 E. 63rd Street, according to the FBI.

They described her as a white woman with pale skin, between 40 and 50 years old, and about 5-foot-8 and 150 pounds with a medium build. She wore a light purple beanie, sunglasses, a long gray or black jacket, black gloves and a purple scarf.

She fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, the FBI said.
