Chiefs’ Albert has a hyperextended knee

Chiefs offensive tackle Branden Albert’s knee injury may not be as serious as it appeared on Sunday. Albert was carted off the field in the second half, and Chiefs coach Andy Reid said on Monday that Albert suffered a hyperextended knee and would be a “day-to-day situation” leading up to the upcoming game at Washington. Tight end Anthony Fasano is undergoing protocol for a concussion “and is doing well in that area, and also had a bit of a knee strain,” Reid said.
