Crash into Gladstone Starbucks injures several

Emergency crews and police investigators remained Friday afternoon at the scene after a vehicle crashed into a Starbucks in Gladstone, injuring several people.

The incident was reported just before 11 a.m. at the store located in the 6400 block of North Prospect Avenue. Details of how the crashed occurred were unavailable. Police dispatchers said they ordered five ambulances to respond to the scene.

Authorities did not immediately know if those injured were inside the Starbucks or in the vehicle that crashed. Their conditions were not immediately available, but they did not appear to be life-threatening.
