The Chiefs added a receiver to the roster Tuesday, as they signed free agent Rashad Ross to the practice squad and released offensive lineman Chandler Burden.
Ross, who is listed at 6-feet and 181 pounds, is a undrafted rookie free agent from Arizona State who spent several months on the Tennessee Titans' practice squad before he was released on Oct. 29.
Ross appeared in 26 games at Arizona State, where he caught 55 passes for 864 yards and seven touchdowns in two seasons. He also had 28 kickoff returns for 779 yards and ran in the low 4.3s at the Sun Devils' pro day in March.
Burden, who was not taken in the 2012 NFL Draft, joined the Chiefs' practice squad Oct. 2 after stints with the Titans and the Miami Dolphins.
