Shooting victim in KCK is identified

Kansas City, Kan., police have identified a man who was killed in a shooting early Tuesday as 27-year-old Patrick J. Washington.

The shooting was reported about 12:15 a.m. Tuesday in the 1300 block of Quindaro Boulevard. Police responded to a reported double shooting and found Washington, a Kansas City, Kan., resident.

A second shooting victim was found near Fifth Street and Washington Avenue. That victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made.
