Crass. Tasteless. Disturbing.

We’ve run out of words to describe these Halloween costumes that make light of the July crash of Asiana Airlines in San Francisco.

Three girls were killed in the crash; more than 100 were injured.

After the crash, news readers at a San Francisco TV station were tricked on air into reading phony, racist names of the plane’s pilots – as in Capt. Sum Ting Wong.

Now a blog called

Angry Asian Man

has posted an Instagram photo of three men at the Sidetrack Video Bar in Chicago over the weekend wearing fake blood and the ripped uniforms of Flight 214 crew members.

Their name tags bear those same fake, racist names used on KTVU’s live broadcast.

The blog claims that the three men are flight attendants, for real.

But they’re not the only ones making sport of the tragedy.

Another picture making the rounds online shows a man at MontBleu Casino and Resort in Lake Tahoe who had the same idea. He’s dressed in a captain’s uniform with “Capt. Sum Ting Wong” on the front and – in case you missed the joke – “Capt. Wi Tu Lo” on the back.

What a disturbing theme this Halloween.

The Facebook photo of a group costume of Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman – the guy playing Trayvon in blackface in a bloody hoodie.

Other Trayvons carrying Skittles and ice tea.

Someone wake us when this day is over.
