The Chiefs elevated offensive lineman Rokevious Watkins from the practice squad to the active 53-man roster on Wednesday and waived tight end Kevin Brock.

Watkins has been a member of the practice squad after spending the 2012 season with St. Louis, where he appeared in one game. He was a fifth-round draft pick out of South Carolina by the Rams in 2012.

Brock appeared in four games for the Chiefs this season, catching three passes for 36 yards while tight end Anthony Fasano was sidelined with injuries. He was inactive in the past two games after Fasano’s return.

The Chiefs also signed tight end Dominque Jones to the practice squad. Jones has played in 10 games with three starts during the last two seasons with Indianapolis. He has three receptions for 42 yards. He entered the league as an undrafted free agent from Shepard University with the Colts and spent most of 2012 with the Indianapolis and Miami practice squads.
