Liberty police investigate double shooting that killed one

Liberty detectives on Wednesday were investigating a fatal shooting at an apartment complex the night before.
Officers responded at 9:45 p.m. to the shooting at the Liberty Court Apartments in the 300 block of Darrel Court. They discovered two persons injured, and one of them died overnight, said Sgt. Robert Kumpost of the Liberty police.
That person’s name has yet to be released.
