One student and an adult sustained minor injuries Thursday afternoon when a car and school bus collided about 3:45 p.m. in the Northeast-area of Kansas City.

Both the student and adult, who was driving the car, were taken to area hospitals and reported in stable condition, said Sgt. Jon Rivers of the Kansas City Police Department.

Several students remained on the First Student bus before transferring to a second bus just before 4:30 p.m. Both the four-door Chevrolet Impala and the bus were towed from the intersection where they collided at 14th Street and Belmont Avenue.
