Woman killed in shooting inside northeast Kansas City, Kan., house

Police are searching for a gunman who fatally shot a woman Wednesday morning inside a northeast Kansas City, Kan., house.

Police responded to reports of a shooting about 2:20 a.m. at house in the 1900 block of North 15th Street.

Arriving officers found the woman, who was in her early 20s, dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

The gunman was gone when officers found the woman, and they did not release suspect information.

Police were interviewing others who were in the house at the time of the shooting.
