Police have released surveillance video showing a man armed with a knife robbing a convenience store in Kansas City, North, on Sunday evening.

The man walked to the counter at the Nashua General Store at 11103 N. Nashua Drive about 8:30 p.m. Sunday with his right hand in his pocket and turned around looking for the clerk.

As the clerk returned to the register, the robber pulled a box-cutter type knife from his pocket.

Police said he told the clerk, Give me the money, pushed the knife toward the clerk and repeated his demand. The cashier opened the register and the robber grabbed all the bills.

The robber then ran out the store. The clerk then locked the stores doors.

Police hope someone who sees the video will recognize the robber, who was dressed in khaki pants and a buttoned shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (474-8477).
