Kansas City police are seeking the driver of a pickup truck after a road rage incident led to another motorist being shot in the arm Monday morning. The shooting occurred about 6:20 a.m. at a gas station in the 7000 block of East Bannister Road. Police said the victim and suspect were involved in a road rage incident as they drove west on Bannister. When the victim pulled into the station to get fuel, the suspect also pulled into the lot. The two men argued and the suspect then started to drive away. As he turned north onto Blue Ridge Blvd., he fired one shot, which struck the victim’s vehicle and hit him in the elbow, police said. After talking to detectives, the victim was taken to a hospital for treatment. The shooter’s truck was described as being dark with chrome along the bottom. It had Missouri license plates. A detailed description of the suspect was not available. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
