An Overland Park woman was killed Monday afternoon in a one-vehicle accident on a southern Indiana highway.

Indiana State Police said Edwina Cabe, 69, was killed about 12:25 p.m. Cabe was westbound on Interstate 64 in Posey County in southwest Indiana when her pickup left the roadway. It struck the south guardrail, then crossed the highway to strike the north guardrail and crossed south again before striking a concrete barrier.

Cabe, who was wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her dog also was killed.
