Jack Ovel on Monday was named president of Bank of America’s Kansas City market.
Ovel succeeds Spence Heddens, who held that position for seven years. Heddens will continue as senior philanthropic manager for the bank’s U.S. Trust Philanthropic Solutions.
Ovel joined Bank of America in 2011 and has more than 40 years of experience in financial services.
The Iowa native currently serves as chairman of the board of Children’s Mercy Hospital and is a trustee emeritus of the Saint Luke’s Hospital Foundation.
