Hallmark’s surplus equipment will be sold

The company has engaged Liquidity Services Inc. to auction Hallmark Cards’ “surplus assets,” which include printing, embossing, packaging and machine shop equipment no longer used by Hallmark at its plants in Topeka, Lawrence and Kansas City. Online bidding will begin Aug. 12.

Online bidding will begin Aug. 12 for manufacturing and handling equipment no longer used by Hallmark Cards Inc. at its plants in Topeka, Lawrence and Kansas City.
