Fisher was confident contract would get done

Tackle Eric Fisher, the first overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, signed a four-year contract on Friday, just hours before taking part in the Chiefs’ conditioning drill and first full-squad practice at Missouri Western. The contract, which includes a club option for a fifth year, is worth about $22 million and has a reported signing bonus of $14.5 million.
