Man shot to death outside Kansas City, Kan., home

An argument early Tuesday turned fatal in Kansas City, Kan., when a homeowner shot a man outside his house, police say.
Police responded to reports of a disturbance at 4:05 a.m. in the 2800 block of North 76th Street.
When they arrived, they found a man in his 50s who had been shot outside. The man was rushed to the hospital, where he died.
Police were questioning the homeowner, who had been arguing with the shooting victim, police say. The two men knew each other.
Police were investigating the circumstances of the shooting.
The identity of the shooting victim was not being released until family could be notified.
